Jeff Greinke - Artist and Musician

I am an intuitive and experimental photographer as well as a musician and recording artist.  Sound and image are intricately linked for me, and I move between the two mediums very comfortably, often pairing the two when I present my work publicly.

With my music, I paint with sound to make ambient sonic landscapes. My recorded music is much like my visual work – multilayered, textural, impressionistic, and often dreamy.

My interest in photography has deepened in recent years as I’ve become entranced with capturing the essence of the natural world using experimental photographic techniques to bring out the vivid or subtle nuance of this beauty.

The painterly quality of my work is created utilizing a technique known as ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) in conjunction with a unique layering process. With these experimental techniques, I create imaginary landscapes that conjure places both dream-like and familiar.

This site is primarily devoted to my visual art with a page included about several decades involved with performing and releasing music.
